Fence Empire originally  offer a highly regarded, kiln-dried cedar known as Cunninghamia lanceolata since establishment. Cunninghamia

is a fragrant, naturally durable, rot- and insect-resistant species sustainably farmed in China for at least 1,000 years. It is characterized by

a warm pale-yellow-to-white grain with reddish hues.

Since 2014 our mill start importing Japonica Cryptomeria from Japan, we called Japanese cedar or Sugi. Japanese cedar, is an extremely

special and highly regarded fencing material.  Sugi cedar is kiln dried and has many benefits. It is extremely durable, affordable, and su-

stainable.
